NEWARK - Residents in one Newark neighborhood are on edge tonight after a teenager was gunned down Saturday night.

Police say Juan Cabrera, a recent graduate of Barringer High School, was shot and killed on Garside Street.

The investigation into who killed the 17-year-old is ongoing and police have released few details. Witnesses say Cabrera was in a car at the time of the shooting.

No one else was injured in the shooting.
