POINT PLEASANT BEACH - Point Pleasant Beach is looking to crack down on drunk and disorderly visitors.

Starting in July, the town will ban nonresident parking near the boardwalk bars. The town will also ask the bars to either close at midnight or pay an extra fee to remain open until 2 a.m.

The added money would help pay for additional police patrols.

A decision on the matter could come later this week.
