MORRISTOWN - A plea deal has been reached in the case stemming from the accidental shooting of an actor at the Wild West City theme park.

Western Inc., the operator of Wild West City in Byram, has pleaded guilty to a third-degree crime of possession of a gun without a permit.

The plea was entered by the company's president, Mike Stabile.

Scott Harris was left paralyzed after being shot during a staged gunfight at the park in 2006. Live ammunition was mistakenly used in the scene.
