PISCATAWAY - Some Piscataway residents say drivers are endangering others when they roll through the city's stop signs.

One of the intersections with the most trouble is Grandview Avenue at Desna Street. A school bus was involved in an accident in that area yesterday.

Nick Basile says it is happening too often, and too close to home. He says three years ago, a car slammed into his house.

"Really, ever since we've lived here, there's been a couple of accidents a year," Basile says. "Since the detour has been put up down the street, all of the traffic is coming through our neighborhood."

Basile hopes the township will install speed bumps or take some other measure to slow drivers down as they approach the stop sign.
