POINT PLEASANT - The unofficial last day of summer in New Jersey is set to be a perfect one for beachgoers and barbecues.

Clear skies, low wind and high temperatures around the 80-degree mark will be seen in most parts of the state.

Marilou Halvorsen, of Jenkinson's Boardwalk, says a fireworks show and patriotic-themed concert will be held on the beach tonight beginning at 7:30 p.m.
