PEQUANNOCK TOWNSHIP - Business owners who were flooded by Irene still can't get their heads above water, as a shopping center in Pequannock's parking lot is flooded again.

The manager of the BuyRite in the shopping center says that after Hurricane Irene came through, he had 4 feet of water in his store. He says he had to buy everything new and was set to reopen today, but instead had to block the entrance to his store with sandbags.

Pequannock police tell News 12 New Jersey that the A&P in the shopping center is going to stay put and plans to reopen some time in the future, despite the flooding.

The water is also still rising along Route 23 North in Wayne, which has forced the roadway to close.
