People near Pompton Lakes prepare for floods

POMPTON LAKES - People in the Pompton Lakes area of northern New Jersey are waiting in fear as the rain continues to fall.

Frustration is widespread after years of flooding in Pequannock. Mike Petruska built a wall of sandbags around his home.

Fairfield Mayor James Gasparini says residents wouldn't have to worry, if something was done to stop the flooding.He says Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) created a commission to find a way to stop the flooding, but his town wasn't included.
