PATH service from Hoboken to resume tomorrow

Gov. Chris Christie, along with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, announced today that PATH rail service at the Hoboken station will resume tomorrow with service

The extended hours mark the first time PATH service has resumed 24-hour service since Sandy.

EDISON - Gov. Chris Christie, along with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, announced today that PATH rail service at the Hoboken station will resume tomorrow with service to and from the 33rd Street station in Manhattan.

The announcement comes following extensive repairs following damage from Sandy.

The trains will initially run in both directions until 10 p.m. seven days a week.

Sandy flooded PATH tunnels with as much as eight feet of water, destroying critical signals and switching systems.
