PATERSON - Angry homeowners in Paterson marched on City Hall tonight to demand tax relief.

Hundreds of people swarmed the steps of City Hall, worried that another tax hike is imminent as officials struggle to come up with a balanced budget.

The tax revolt comes the same day as the city began sending out layoff notices to 125 police officers in another desperate effort to cut spending.
