PATERSON - Flooding in Paterson has caused damage to many people's belongings. It has been more than two weeks since Irene's rains flooded the Passaic River and covered the city's streets.

Now, the concern has shifted to the noxious smell left behind by the floods. Belongings pile high in the streets in front of homes and cars remain covered in soot and mud.

City residents say the last thing they need to do is worry about the health of their families.
