PATERSON - A Paterson man is pleading with thieves who made off with his beloved dog Lucky to bring him home.

Nan Lu says his 100-pound German Shepherd has a medical condition. He's promised $5,000 to the person who can return Lucky home safely, and says he won't even prosecute the person who took him.

Lu says Lucky means his life, and that the dog is connected to many other people's lives as well.

Officials from Passaic County Animal Control are working to locate Lucky and return him home safely. Officers say if Lucky has been abused, the person who took him will be charged with animal cruelty.
