TRENTON - People in southern and coastal New Jersey will have to scrape and brush some light snow off their vehicles this morning.
Motorists are advised to go slow because of the possibility of slippery road conditions early today.
The National Weather Service reported accumulations ranging from 1.5 inches at Cape May to a coating in Mount Holly and Ocean Township.
Road crews were out overnight treating major highways. However, temperatures are expected to remain below freezing through the late morning.
Meanwhile, residents along the Jersey shore and south Jersey might be in for more snow this weekend.
News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says a storm is expected to develop to the south on Saturday. A potential for snow exists along the Jersey shore and south Jersey late Saturday into Sunday.
