NORTH BERGEN - Fire officials say a six-alarm blaze at a North Bergen condo complex has been contained.

North Hudson Regional Fire Department officials say more than 100 firefighters were called in to help battle the fire at the Roc Harbour housing complex on River Road. The fire was first reported just before 6 a.m. today.

Fire officials say gas lines that had been fueling the fire have been shut off. No major injuries have been reported beyond minor slips and falls due to icy conditions.

Investigators are looking into what started the fire, which burned in three buildings of the 17-building complex. It appears that at least one of the buildings has suffered a partial collapse.

The Red Cross tells News 12 New Jersey they're helping at least 16 people who were living in the 12 units affected.
