Parolee Edward Turner arrested in Newark IHOP murder of Papa Khaly Ndiaye
NEWARK - A man has been arrested in the murder of a Newark IHOP manager shot as he tried to break up a fight outside his Bergen Street restaurant on March 23, 2013.
The Essex County Prosecutor says Edward Turner, 26, of Newark has been arrested and charged in the murder of 30-year-old Papa Khaly Ndiaye.
Ndiaye, a native of Senegal, was the overnight manager.

Turner was arrested during a parole visit without incident. He is also charged with several weapons charges.
Ndiaye was shot in the head and died hours later. Two other people were shot, but survived their injuries.
