NEWARK - A man has been arrested in the murder of a Newark IHOP manager shot as he tried to break up a fight outside his Bergen Street restaurant on March 23, 2013.

The Essex County Prosecutor says Edward Turner, 26, of Newark has been arrested and charged in the murder of 30-year-old Papa Khaly Ndiaye.

Ndiaye, a native of Senegal, was the overnight manager.

Turner was arrested during a parole visit without incident. He is also charged with several weapons charges.
