Parishioners still coming to terms with priest's murder

CHATHAM - Parishioners at St. Patrick's Church in Chatham are still coming to terms with the murder of the Rev. Edward Hinds as prosecutors prepare to deliver their closing arguments in the murder trial tomorrow.

Officials say Hinds was murdered by church custodian Jose Feliciano in Oct. 2009.

The defense alleges that Hinds forced Feliciano into a sexual relationship to cover up Feliciano's criminal history.

"The whole thing's just been really ugly, but as a community I feel like it's brought us a lot closer and we've been praying through it," says Sean Masterson.
