PARAMUS - Police in Paramus are warning residents to beware of a group of pickpockets who are targeting supermarket shoppers in town.

They say that the group of men are targeting women’s purses while they are shopping at the grocery store. Police are asking women to keep an eye on their purses at all times and to not leave them unattended in shopping carts.

Authorities released surveillance photos of the suspects.

Police are urging all shoppers to be alert and to contact them if they see anything suspicious by calling 201-262-3400.
