PARAMUS - More than 500 people laced up their running shoes for a good cause in Paramus Sunday morning.

The CancerCare Paramus Walk/Run for Hope is a 5K that was held at the Bergen Community College.

The event raises funds to help anyone affected by cancer.

This year’s event raised more than $100,000.
