Painted heads are turning heads in Red Bank

RED BANK - Downtown Red Bank is the home to a unique open air art exhibit that's sure to turn heads.

Fifty painted heads, each unique and multicolored, are all over Red Bank. They are the work of Yugoslavian painter Dumitru Gorzo and were brought downtown by curator Robin Parness of the fledgling New Jersey Museum of Contemporary Art. The museum does not yet have a home.

The exhibit is called "Heads" and each head has its own unique style.

The artwork will be on display until Oct. 12.
