LACEY TOWNSHIP - The Oyster Creek Power Plant announced today a plan to clean up its radioactive water spill in Ocean County, but local residents doubt it will be enough.

Some residents of Lacey Township believe that the cleanup has to go beyond the planned diluting of the aquifers tainted with a cancer-causing nuclear byproduct. They say diluting the water would simply spread around the radioactive matter.

The aquifers supply drinking water to more than one million New Jersey residents.
