LACEY TOWNSHIP - Residents living near a nuclear plant in Lacey Township should not be alarmed if they hear sirens today.

The Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station will conduct two tests of the sirens surrounding the power plant.

The first test will take place at 10 a.m. and the second will take place at 7 p.m. The sirens will sound for three minutes.

Emergency management officials have set up an information hotline for residents who want to ask questions about the test 800-792-8314.
