WOODBRIDGE - Authorities were forced to shut down part of the New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge this morning due to an overturned tractor-trailer.

The overturned tractor-trailer dumped a large amount of fuel onto the Jersey Turnpike truck lanes southbound near exit 11, causing a massive backup.

Authorities have not released any information regarding the circumstances of the crash.

The left lane on the outer roadway southbound in Woodbridge remains closed while crews work to finish repairs.
