FLANDERS - An overnight fire gutted a Morris County home that a new owner was set to occupy today.

The fire broke out in home on Flanders Netcong Road in the Flanders section of Mount Olive Township at around 4:30 a.m.

Firefighters from several departments were called in to help fight the blaze.

Fire officials tell News 12 New Jersey the home was recently sold and no one was inside at the time of the fire. The home was badly damaged, but authorities believe most of the new owner’s belongings were not in the home.
