TRENTON - Officials are trying to figure out how 102 kindergartners in Trenton will make up missing a month of school time.

The children were not placed into classes until Oct. 10 even though school in New Jersey's capital city began Sept. 6.

Trenton school officials say most of the parents didn't register the children until after school had started. The district says by that time, kindergarten classes were full and the district just didn't have the classroom space.
