Officials: Woman on oxygen dies after fire breaks out in home

UNION TOWNSHIP - Fire officials say a woman who was using an oxygen machine died after her Union Township home caught fire.

The fire broke out on Race Street early Sunday morning. News 12 New Jersey was told the victim's name is Noreen Castellano, who was in her 70s.

Officials say a tenant living above the garage reported the fire, which started in the back of the house.

An EMS worker says the victim's husband was able to get out of the house, but suffered smoke inhalation.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
