MOONACHIE - State and local officials toured storm-damaged Moonachie today to see recovery efforts in the community.

Assemblywoman Marlene Caride, state Community Affairs Commissioner Richard Constable, Assemblyman Gary Schaer and Moonachie Mayor Dennis Vaccaro got an update on what residents and business owners are doing to repair the damage left behind from Hurricane Sandy.

Vaccaro says many borough residents are still struggling more than a month after the storm struck.
