HAMILTON - Police and firefighters have responded to calls of a potential hazmat situation at the Ice Land ice rink in Hamilton.

Emergency workers treated 20 children who got sick there. Seven were sent to area hospitals.

Officials say the source turned out to be a carbon monoxide leak due to a broken chimney on top of a water heater.

The rink is closed for the rest of the weekend.
