NEW BRUNSWICK - One man was injured in a police-involved shooting that happened yesterday in New Brunswick, officials say.

According to investigators, the suspect was armed and fired at officers on the corner of Sandford Street and Livingston Avenue. Witnesses say police fired back after he wouldn't drop the gun when they told him to.

Police say the man's injuries are not life-threatening.
