New Jersey Transit says a man was struck and killed by a train at a Middlesex County station, and four other people standing nearby were hit by parts of his body.

NJ Transit police identified the man as Frank Farriella, 50, of Middlesex.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. Tuesday in New Brunswick.
