Officials angry over death of teacher visiting Newark

NEWARK - Newark Mayor Corey Booker says he is anguished over the murder of Virginia resident Dawn Reddick.

Reddick was visiting her family when she was gunned down on Maple Avenue on July 29.

Officials say that she may have sacrificed herself shielding a 7-year-old boy from the hail of bullets.A wake for Reddick will be held on Thursday and her funeral will be held on Friday.
