Officials: 3 people injured when home explodes in Manville

MANVILLE - Officials are investigating what caused a home in Manville to explode early this afternoon, leaving three people injured.

Residents say the home on Huff Street exploded at around 2 p.m. while two Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) employees were inside working on a boiler unit.

The two utility workers and the homeowner were rushed to the hospital.

PSE&G officials say the cause of the explosion is under investigation, but it does not appear to involve natural gas.
