Officials: 3 arrested in connection to Lakewood murder

LAKEWOOD - Authorities say three people have been arrested in connection to the murder of a man in Lakewood.

Ocean County prosecutors say Jesus Roman and Carlos Lagunes broke into Miguel Rivera's home and killed him sometime on or before Christmas Eve. They were arrested Monday in Sussex.

Roman's mother Evelyn Rodriguez was arrested for allegedly hindering the investigation.

Roman and Lagunes are facing murder, burglary and hindering charges. Their bail was set at $1 million cash.

Rodriguez's bail was set at $250,000.
