JERSEY CITY - Officers in Jersey City fired weapons this morning at two suspects in an allegedly stolen car.

There was a large police presence at around 3:30 a.m. on Bright Street between Merseles Street and Montgomery Court.

Police say they first spotted the car at JFK Boulevard and Tonnelle Circle, but the suspects refused to stop.

The men eventually rammed a marked police car on Bright Street, according to police.

Police say no one was shot or seriously injured.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating. Prosecutors typically get involved when police have fired their weapons.
