Obama stops in Cresskill for fundraising dinner

CRESSKILL - President Barack Obama paid another visit to the Garden State tonight to attend a Democratic National Committee fundraising dinner.

The president landed in New Jersey just before 6 p.m. and headed to Cresskill, where he joined 50 donors at a dinner party on East Madison Avenue.

The fundraiser, which cost more than $30,000 per person, was hosted by lobbyist and public relations executive Michael Kempner.

The president kept the visit short, leaving New Jersey shortly after dinner.
