NYC to host ticker-tape parade for Super Bowl champs

NEW YORK - (AP) - New York City will be hosting a ticker-tapeparade and City Hall ceremony for Super Bowl champions New YorkGiants.

The celebration is scheduled for Tuesday.

The city will be conducting a public giveaway for tickets to theCity Hall Plaza ceremony on Monday between 9 a .m. and 11 a.m.

People can access an entry form at the city's website and by calling311.

The parade will start at Battery Place and Washington Street at11 a.m. and continue up the "Canyon of Heroes" to Worth Street.It will be followed by a ceremony at City Hall Plaza where MayorMichael Bloomberg will present the Giants with the Keys to theCity.

Bloomberg announced the parade for Big Blue moments after theGiants defeated the New England Patriots 21-17 Sunday night.

Giants fans in New Jersey can use mass transit to attend New York City's ticker tape parade for the Super Bowl champs tomorrow.

PATH will offer additional midday service to the World Trade Center, one block from the parade router on Broadway.

PATH will extend morning rush service on the Newark to World Trade Center and Hoboken to World Trade Center routes from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
