NY Giants players deliver turkeys to food bank

HILLSIDE - Some New York Giants players traded in footballs for turkeys yesterday.

Players helped deliver 1,500 turkeys donated by Stop and Shop to the Community Food Bank in Hillside.

Wide Receiver Hakeem Nicks says he benefited from food banks while he was growing up. "There's been a time when we relied on sources such as this and it always helped us out in times of need, so anytime I can give back always feels good."

Stop and Shop is donating 20,000 turkeys to local hunger relief organizations across the Northeast.
