Nursing home in New Milford receives threatening letter

NEW MILFORD - Investigators in Bergen County are trying to determine who sent a threatening letter to a nursing home.

The note was sent yesterday to the Woodcrest Center in New Milford.

The town's chief of police took the note very seriously, and locked down the nursing home.

Thankfully, nothing was found inside and none of the residents or staff were injured.

The note made references to firearms and explosives, as well as the recent Colorado movie theater shooting massacre.
