EDISON - A nonprofit spearheaded by a Lakewood woman dedicated to helping survivors of terror attacks met for an annual week of relaxing and connecting in New York City.

Strength to Strength is an organization started in 2007 by Sarri Singer, the daughter of state Sen. Robert Singer. She founded the organization after surviving a suicide bomb attack in Israel.

The organization helps terror attack survivors share stories, connect with each other and try to heal.

This year's annual meeting is capped off with dinner at Sen. Singer's home in Lakewood.
