No St. Patrick's Day parade? No problem in Hoboken

HOBOKEN - Although no parade was held this year, the City of Hoboken celebrated St. Patrick's Day today.

The sidewalks were filled with revelers in green and numerous police officers dressed in blue.

The city stepped up enforcement following issues and numerous arrests last year.

Hoboken officials canceled this year's parade citing concerns over safety and quality of life for residents in the area.

Many celebrating the holiday say they are still having fun despite there being no parade.
