NJ Transit to restore late-night train service to Shore

LONG BRANCH - NJ Transit is temporarily restoring late-night train service to Shore destinations south of Long Branch for the summer.

The temporary schedule is from June 27 to Sept. 9. The last train out of New York Penn Station will depart at 1 a.m.

It will include service to Elberon, Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Bradley Beach, Belmar, Spring Lake, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach and Bay Head.

If riders miss the last train, they will have to wait until 5:32 a.m.
