EDISON - Service has been restored on NJ Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line following an earlier suspension.

Officials say the suspension, caused by downed wires in Bloomfield, had been in effect between Broad Street in Newark and Bay Street in Montclair.

NJ Transit had been cross-honoring tickets as crews worked to repair the outage.
