NJ Transit service between NJ, NYC has resumed
NEWARK - New Jersey Transit service between New York City and Newark has resumed. Amtrak's Portal Bridge had been stuck in the open position, requiring the agency to suspend service.
NJ Transit says its MidTown Direct line subject to 30-60 minute delays.
Train passes are being cross-honored for customers who want to take PATH trains to New York form Hoboken and Newark, and for NJ Transit buses to New York.
