EDISON - Rail service on the New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor suffered an hour-long shutdown this morning due an Amtrak power problem.

The low-voltage problems stalled the ride to work for hundreds of commuters for the second time in less than two weeks.

On Aug. 11, a fallen tree knocked out power and rail signals, delaying the busy commuter trains for up to two hours.
