EDISON - New Jersey Transit said it is prepared to deal with slippery road conditions due to the latest winter blast moving through the area.

The agency said it will cross-honor rail and bus tickets systemwide all day today to assist commuters during their morning commute.

Rail and bus service is expected to operate on a regular weekday schedule. However, the agency said passengers may experience delays of 20-30 minutes on bus service and 10-15 minutes on train service due to the weather conditions.

All NJ Transit rail station buildings and waiting rooms will remain open extended hours, including evenings and overnight, throughout the storm.
