MANVILLE - Movie theaters across New Jersey are stepping up security this evening after a massacre at a Colorado theater left at least 12 dead.

A lone gunman walked into the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colo., which was packed for a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises." In addition to the 12 victims who were killed, nearly 60 other moviegoers were injured in the rampage.

Some theaters, including the Reading Cinema in Manville, say they will not allow costumes.
