NJ tea party members gear up for D.C. rally

MORRISTOWN - A rally that was planned by talk show host Glenn Beck will be held in Washington D.C. on Saturday. News 12 New Jersey caught up with two men from Morristown who say they're taking the trip to make their opinion known.

Peter Glenn, 65, is one of 300 members of the Morristown tea party who'll attend the rally. Glenn says he's fearful of the direction the country has taken under President Barack Obama and a Democrat controlled Congress.

The rally, which will be held on the front steps of the Lincoln Memorial, is already sparking controversy because of its timing and location. It's being held on the 47th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.
