TRENTON - Gov. Chris Christie's state Supreme Court nominees will answer questions in public for the first time at their confirmation hearing tomorrow.

The nominees, Bruce Harris and Phil Kwon, are slated to go before the Senate Judiciary Committee, for their confirmation hearing. The hearing is expected to be a game of cat and mouse, as confirmation hearings generally are.

At a news conference Wednesday in Hunterdon County, the governor said he's confident his picks for the high court will impress the committee. If confirmed, Bruce Harris would be the court's first openly gay justice and Phil Kwon would be its first Asian-American.
