EDISON - Some parts of New Jersey are returning to normal two days after the state was walloped by a massive snowstorm.

Last night, Acting Gov. Steve Sweeney lifted the state of emergency declaration. State offices will be open today.

Since then, New Jersey Transit buses have returned to service.

Newark Liberty Airport is currently open with residual delays. Check with your airline before heading to the airport.

Most train lines across the state are still on modified schedules today.

The after-Christmas storm covered some areas with more than two feet of snow and stranded motorists and airline passengers by the thousands.
