EDISON - New Jersey residents are hitting the stores today to stock up as the snow builds up around the state.

A shipment of 300 shovels came in yesterday afternoon at the Lowe's in Woodbridge, and the supply is quickly dwindling. The store says it is currently out of snowblowers.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says the storm could bring up to 6 inches of snow to northeastern parts of the state, but only between 1-3 inches for the rest of New Jersey.
