NJ residents divided on release of bin Laden pictures

EDISON - Many New Jersey residents are divided on whether the White House should release pictures of Osama bin Laden's body.

Despite President Barack Obama's decision not to release the images, the debate over the issue continues. Kathy O'Shaughnessy told News 12 New Jersey that she doesn't think the whole world has to see the photos and believes they would cause problems.

Paige McLaughlin says she thinks there are still a lot of critics who will say that bin Laden is not dead. She says showing the photos will put to rest comments, just like releasing Obama's birth certificate quieted rumors about the president.

Many people say they believe the pictures will find their way onto the Internet one way or another.
