MONTCLAIR - Now that the gifts have been unwrapped and the holiday decorations are starting to fade, most folks across New Jersey have their eyes set on New Year's Eve.

Across the state, there are many ways to ring in 2013.

Many towns host "First Night" featuring free entertainment, music, and family friendly offerings throughout the evening.

For those looking for a more upscale night out, many of the state's finest restaurants offer special holiday meals. It's highly recommended that you book early as reservations fill up fast.

Funzone in Montclair is a great option for family fun this New Year's Eve. It's even offering an earlier ball drop just for the little ones at 8:30.
